About DataCraft Collective
We started DataCraft Collective to help analysts and product teams build momentum with data. Our courses focus on real-world workflows, reproducible setups, and the soft skills to influence decisions.
Mission
Bring clarity and confidence to digital decisions through practical education and community. We teach the craft, not just the clicks.
Principles
- Hands-on first: build, then theorize.
- Open playbooks: we share templates and patterns.
- Tool-agnostic thinking: concepts outlast platforms.
- Community feedback loops.
Vibe
Upbeat, kind, and ambitious. Coral and amber accents reflect our energy and warmth.
Our Story
Year 1 — The cohort experiment
We piloted tiny cohorts with 12 practitioners and discovered the magic of peer review and live debugging labs.
Year 2 — Warehouse-native thinking
We shifted from dashboard-first to model-first learning, teaching dbt, BigQuery, and versioned taxonomies.
Year 3 — Experiments at scale
We built a common language for experimentation to align product, engineering, and growth teams.
Today — The Collective
A vibrant community hub where analysts mentor analysts, and every artifact becomes part of a shared library.
Team
Alex Morgan — Lead Analyst
Specializes in attribution, experiments, and analytics architecture for product-led growth teams.
Priya Shah — Data Engineer
Builds warehouse models and event pipelines that make dashboards meaningful and stable.
Diego Alvarez — Instructor
Teaches GA4, GTM, and taxonomies. Loves turning messy event maps into elegant measurement.
Advisors and contributors
We learn in public. Practitioners contribute playbooks, snippets, and case studies to keep the library fresh.
